Miami Youth Sports Program (MYSP)

 Gardner Group Foundation, we are committed to nurturing self-reliance and community engagement. Our initiatives focus on providing holistic programs that equip individuals with essential skills for personal and financial growth.

Goals:

  – Increase youth participation in sports.

  – Promote physical literacy, health, and wellness.

  – Develop leadership, teamwork, and life skills.

  – Reduce barriers to entry (cost, access, transportation).

  – Foster mentorship between university athletes and local youth.x

Age Group: 6-17 years old.

 

• Priority Groups: Low-income youth, minority populations, youth with disabilities, and girls.

• School Partnerships: Elementary, middle, and high schools in Miami-Dade County.

H.E.A.R.T of the Community Program

Partner with local High Schools and provide the function & resources to allow the school to implement the program a selective credit.

Organize and fund housing and community projects aimed on increasing valve in the community.

Create Newsletters with local business advertise – Newsletter created by student and set as way to promote the programs and community projects.

G.O.A.L.S (Gaining Occupational Advantages Learning Skills)

Work with the local business that have supported the programs will have the opportunity to hire and train the participants with in the programs. 

The GOALS program is a workforce development initiative designed to equip young individuals with essential job skills, hands-on training, and direct employment opportunities. This program serves as a bridge between education and the workforce, preparing participants for meaningful employment after graduation or during their final years of high school.

To empower students and young adults with practical skills, career readiness, and industry-specific training, ensuring they transition into the workforce with confidence and capability.

GOALS collaborates with companies that support other Gardner Group Foundation initiatives, such as:

 

  • RUSH (Reaching Ultimate Success through Hustle) – An entrepreneurship and leadership program.
  • MYSP (Mindful Youth Success Pathway) – A personal development and financial literacy initiative.
  • HEART (Holistic Education & Resilience Training) – A program focused on mental wellness, life balance, and personal growth.
